Medical Wigs

Medical Wigs for Patients

Human hair medical wigs for clients experiencing hair loss from chemotherapy, radiotherapy, alopecia or other medical reasons. Designed for sensitive scalps, natural appearance and private support.

We Understand This Is Personal

Medical hair loss can affect more than appearance. It can bring emotional pressure, unfamiliarity and anxiety about daily life. Our aim is to provide a safe, private and pressure-free environment for consultation and fitting.

For many clients, the hardest part is not only losing hair, but feeling unfamiliar with the person in the mirror. A medical wig is not simply about covering hair loss; it is about helping you feel more like yourself during treatment and transition.

What Is a Medical Wig?

A medical wig is designed for people who experience hair loss due to chemotherapy, radiotherapy or other medical causes. Compared with decorative fashion wigs, medical wigs place stronger emphasis on scalp comfort, breathability, low-irritation materials and stable daily wear.

Beauti Hair Centre uses human hair, lightweight breathable bases and soft inner construction, together with custom measurement and styling support, to balance natural appearance, comfort and confidence.

Important: We are not medical advisors and our wigs are not medical treatment. For diagnosis, medication, scalp symptoms or treatment questions, please consult your healthcare team.

When to Prepare a Medical Wig

2-3 Weeks Before Chemotherapy

Book a consultation while your original hair is still present so colour, shape and hairline reference can be matched more accurately.

Weeks 2-3 After Treatment Starts

Many clients begin to notice more visible shedding around this stage. Preparing earlier can make the transition less stressful.

During Treatment

The scalp may be more sensitive, so comfort, breathability and low-irritation construction become especially important.

3-6 Months After Treatment

Some clients continue wearing a medical wig during the regrowth period until hair length and density feel stable again.

Six Key Features

Low-Irritation Materials

Designed to reduce friction and discomfort on sensitive scalps.

Lightweight Breathable Base

Helps reduce heat and stuffiness during longer wear.

100% Human Hair

Natural texture and movement help the wig look closer to your original hairstyle.

Washable and Hygienic

Designed for careful cleaning and ongoing hygiene during regular use.

Natural Parting

Parting and scalp-like details are considered for a more realistic close-up appearance.

Custom Fit

Measurements are taken according to head shape and face shape for better stability and comfort.

Who Medical Wigs Are Suitable For

Clients Receiving Chemotherapy

Medical wigs can support clients facing hair loss related to breast cancer, lung cancer, lymphoma and other cancer treatments.

Medication-Related Hair Loss

Some treatments may lead to hair loss as a side effect. A medical wig can help maintain appearance during this period.

Alopecia Areata or Total Hair Loss

Medical wigs can provide natural coverage for localised or extensive hair loss caused by immune-related conditions.

Other Medical Causes

Hair loss related to thyroid conditions, lupus, radiotherapy or other medical factors may also benefit from a private wig consultation.

Medical Wig Custom Process

1. Private Consultation

We recommend booking 2-3 weeks before chemotherapy begins when possible, so there is enough time for measurement and preparation.

2. Assessment and Measurement

We understand your treatment schedule, comfort needs, head size, face shape and preferred appearance.

3. Colour and Style Matching

When possible, we match your original hair colour, length and style before hair loss becomes advanced.

4. Hand-Made Production

Experienced wig makers hand-knot the wig. Production usually takes around 2 to 3 weeks depending on specifications.

5. Fitting and Wearing Guidance

We adjust the fit, teach wearing and care methods, and provide follow-up adjustment support when needed.

Care Principles During Treatment

  • Use gentle cleaning methods to reduce wear on the hair and inner lining.
  • Allow the wig to air dry naturally whenever possible.
  • Arrange maintenance according to wearing frequency.
  • Store the wig dry and supported when not in use.
  • Brush gently and avoid pulling.
  • If scalp condition changes, adjust wearing and care habits accordingly.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I prepare a medical wig?

Ideally 2-3 weeks before chemotherapy starts. This allows more accurate colour matching and reduces last-minute pressure.

Can I wear it during treatment?

Yes, provided the structure is suitable for sensitive scalps and your healthcare team has no specific restrictions.

Will it feel heavy?

A suitable medical wig should be lightweight, breathable and stable. We choose the structure based on your scalp condition and wearing time.

Can I keep wearing it after treatment?

Many clients continue wearing a wig during the regrowth period until hair length and density are more stable.

Client Feedback

“I visited before chemotherapy started. The team helped match my colour and shape, and the wig was ready when shedding began. It felt comfortable and looked very natural.”
“I was worried my children would be afraid after hair loss. The medical wig looked natural and felt light enough to wear for the whole day.”
